a risk in the darkness

Glimmering in the moonlight
His captivating presence restarts my heart
Thumping stridently in my ears,
My blood boils under my skin
As I brace myself
For the leap of a lifetime
Hand in hand we go forth
into the darkness of the world
taking a chance for love.

a sort of happy poem (i'm working on it)

her hips sways smoothly

like winds blowing in a quiet medow breeze

her eyes are closed remembering happy memories

as her head softly swings from side to side

her hands are up reaching for the crystal blue sky

she is lost in better times

gone to another world

an alternate universe keeps her going

anythings better then real life.

each tick of the clock brings it closer

every mistake becomes inevitable

the time draws nearer

it lingers ahead in the future

it pounces on unsuspecting victims

it feeds on the innocent

the too young are put at risk

there is no mercy to be shown

no tears to be shed

everyone has to go at one point

some sooner then others

there is no point in fearing the things to come

go headstrong into life

and leave this earth with the ones you love

and one last smile

before you leave us

with absence.
