numb

lose yourself.

let the blackness envelope around you,
eating away all remnants of pain
touching every crevasse of your body
give in to the omnipresent numbness
let all wishful thinking escape the steel trap of your mind
let all sanity slowly slip away...
and watch as every raw memory fades into nothingness
forget everything that is unforgettable
let go of the afflicted past.

Is this about suicide. It's great actually. I guess maybe you are going to be a great writer...maybe

I think I've already let my sanity, "slip away".
But that's why we're HB, right?

that's a really beautiful poem. i really liked it when you said "let the darkness envelope around you."
