a happy poem (don't say I didnt' warn you)

ok I wrote a happy poem for all those people complaining of my depressingness, but don't say I didn't warn you. I told all of you guys that I couldn't write a happy poem to save my life. For the record I told you so.

love

is controlling
is obliterating
is incomprehensible

it makes you go back on everything you once believed
contradict yourself by rethinking everything you every thought

it flings you head over heals into the great unknown
and makes you smile as you come spiraling down into heartbreak

it makes your decision for you
and your world catches on blazing fire
it also makes you smile.
and laugh.
and cry.

and hurt, hurt hurt,

love likes to make you hurt.

but in the end it always wins

there is no fighting your heart

your brain might fleetingly disagree

but you can't do anything but go down with a smile

there is no way to fight the immeasurable force

that comes unexpectedly out of no where

once you fall in
you can't crawl back out again,

of this crazy little thing called love.

I never thought anyone could make even love seem sad, and hopeless but you managed it. It was a lovely and well written but depressing. I do love how you used the quote "crazy little thing called love".

What exactly is your definiton of "happy"? The poem was very well-written, but was it actually "happy"?
